Who houses the homeless in your city? In Brooklyn’s East New York, its Kevin Green. Kevin founded Uplifting Men & Women, which ranks #1 out of 50 NYC non-profits housing homeless and ex-cons. “Real Men Do Real Things. UPLIFTING MEN was established because of the growing need for supportive transitional residences as a result of the lack of available housing. Our supportive housing program is based on our Rites of Passage Model. We provide room and board and holistic services to homeless individuals while they prepare to live independently.”
MY SMALL STORY
Over the past 15 years I have traveled, filmed and and acquired a library of over 6,000 hours. From the recording studio in NYC to South African Safari’s, I have filmed my conversations and watched my library grow. On April 26, 2010, I launched www.MySmallStroy.com in NYC as a way to share insight. My Small Story contextualizes life through a collection of unscripted filmed conversations with small businesses, entrepreneurs, artists and everyday people filmed, edited & shared weekly by LaRon Batchelor – a videographer/ethnographer with 15 years experience filming conversations in 4 continents.

I appreciate you taking the time and effort to
put this article together. I once again find myself spending a
lot of time both reading and posting comments. But so what,
it was still worth it!
