 “I make children’s clothes that are all black.Its called Babynoir, then I got tired of sewing black clothes with black thread at 3am in the morning so I started making colorful clothes as well..called babySolaire…New Yorkers wear black alot. I wanted my baby to match me.” Kazuki Kozuru-Salifoska

Babynoir opened February 1, 2012 and offers a unique selection of fashion, toys and books for kids. I love New York entrepreneurs. A new mother, Kazuki was having a hard time finding outfits for her baby girl Kharin that suited her taste. She had to navigate the world full of pink stuff to find the cutest little orange things and mint green things.
Then it came to finding black outfits for the baby.   Kazuki is a New Yorker, and a designer.  She wears black.  A lot.  Her baby must have at least one or two black outfits, too!  She had a really, really hard time finding good black outfits for Kharin.  When a New Yorker does black, she/he does BLACK.
